"Got me lifting again"
I tried the Barbell Medicine rehab stuff for some annoying back pain I couldn’t shake, it actually helped more than I expected. It wasn’t some instant fix or anything, but the plan was easy to follow and the way they explained things made me feel a lot less worried about moving. After a few weeks, I’m back to lifting with way less pain.

The site comes across as reliable, and the information is easy to understand. I’d still double-check any medical advice just to be safe, but the sources seem solid and the tone feels credible. Some of the extra wording felt a little unnecessary, but overall it seems dependable enough

"Lifts are moving again, so I’m happy"
I’ve been using Barbell Medicine for a few months now my lifts are finally going up again, which is what I cared about most. It took me a little while to get into the flow of the programming, and I definitely had to reread a few things at first, but once it clicked it made sense. Also, random thing, the site could be easier to navigate because I got turned around a couple times. But the training itself has been solid, I feel stronger, and overall I’m happy with it

To be fair, the service itself wasn’t terrible, but the subscription part got annoying. Canceling wasn’t as straightforward as I expected, and when I reached out to support, it took longer than I’d hoped to get a response.

"Showed up way faster than I thought"
I ordered from barbellmedicine.com and I wasn’t really expecting it to arrive that quickly, but then the tracking came through fast and next thing I knew the package was already here. Everything was packed fine, no weird issues or delays or anything like that. Just a really smooth experience overall, which is always nice when you’re ordering online and kind of wondering how long it’s going to take.

Overall, I’ve been happy with the coaching. The feedback actually feels specific to me and not like some copy-paste advice (which I really appreciate). My coach usually explains why we’re changing something, so I’m not just blindly following the plan.

Every now and then, replies take a little longer than I’d like, but it hasn’t been a huge issue. I still feel like they’re paying attention to my lifts, my schedule, and how I’m recovering (instead of just throwing more work at me).

It’s not perfect, but it’s been really solid. I’ve made good progress and, maybe just as importantly, I don’t feel completely wrecked all the time. Definitely a good experience so far

"Didn’t really feel heard about my injury"
I reached out because I was dealing with an injury and just wanted some real guidance on what to do next. The response I got felt surface-level, and it didn’t seem like my specific situation was being taken that seriously.
I get that they probably can’t solve everything for everyone, and it’s not even about that. I just expected the advice to feel more personal, especially given the price and reputation. Most of it sounded like stuff I could’ve found online, so I ended up feeling frustrated and still kind of unsure where to go from there.

I was hoping for something more personalized, but uh, it felt kind of copy-paste. Support was fine and they responded okay, it just didn’t really feel like the plan was tailored to me.

"Pretty solid results overall"
I tried the programs for a few months my squat and bench both went up, so... that was a win. Some weeks I wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to be doing or why the setup was like that, but overall it worked well for me.

"Took forever to get a response"
The replies were way too slow, and the whole experience was frustrating. It felt like they kept leaning on little policy loopholes instead of actually helping or giving a straight answer. Not a great experience.

I ordered one item and somehow got something totally different instead. I think I placed the order around late last month, or maybe the week before that, I can’t remember exactly. Customer support did get it sorted out, so I’ll give them credit for that, but it was still annoying to deal with.

I asked a simple question and barely got any help. A couple people replied, but it was super short and not really useful. Just felt cold, so I stopped using it.

"Site was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I was just trying to find a basic program, so I assumed it would be straightforward, but the whole site felt clunky. On my phone, the pages loaded in a weird way and the menus weren’t very intuitive. After clicking around for about 10 minutes, I figured this was probably how the whole experience was going to go, so I gave up. Not great.

It just wasn’t for me. I was hoping for something that felt a bit more backed by solid evidence, but it didn’t really come across that way. Maybe it works for other people, but I couldn’t get into it.

"Overall, the advice I got from my coach..."
Overall, the advice I got from my coach was solid and definitely helpful. The only thing that bothered me was that replies were sometimes a bit slow. When I’m trying to stay on track, even waiting longer than expected can feel like I’m missing out on progress or losing momentum. I still got value from it, but faster responses would’ve made the experience a lot better.

I checked my receipt again after it arrived because I expected better for what I paid. It just felt kind of cheap in person, and not as sturdy or nice as I thought it would be. I even went back through the order email to make sure I hadn’t misunderstood the details, but overall it was a bit disappointing...

"Honestly, not worth the money!!!"
I really don’t think this was worth the price!!! For what you actually get, it just feels way too expensive!!! I expected a lot more for the money!!!
